Buyers who specify edgeless microfiber towels usually have one reason: the edge. On a bound towel, the stitched border is a harder seam than the towel body, and that seam is what touches the paint when the towel is folded or dragged. An edgeless towel is cut and sealed instead, so the edge sits at the same height as the surface.
How the Edgeless Construction Differs
A bound towel is folded over and stitched. An edgeless towel is cut to size and the border is sealed rather than sewn, which removes the raised seam. The difference shows up in use: it is the reason edgeless towels are the usual choice for polish removal and wax buffing rather than for soaking up rinse water.
Which Constructions Come Edgeless
In our line the edgeless constructions include the 320 GSM pearl weave towel at 40x40cm (about 56 g per piece, listed in blue, purple, red and yellow) and the 380 GSM warp knitting towel at 40x40cm (about 63 g per piece, in yellow, sky blue, grey and orange). Both are polish and buff towels rather than drying towels.
The towel that removes polish is not the towel that dries the car. Buyers who mix the two end up replacing both sooner.
Buying Edgeless Towels in Bulk
Bulk orders for these constructions are normally specified by three numbers: the GSM, the size and the piece count per colour. Logo printing is accepted and free of charge at the standard order quantity of 2000 pcs per item, with OEM packaging available and shipping arranged as DDP, FOB or CIF.
Because polish towels are washed more often than drying towels, buyers running bulk programmes often split the order across two colours so the wash buckets stay separated.
